Marion County Fair Photo Identification Badges for Members

This year the Marion County Senior Fair Board is again using photo identification badges for youth to enter the fairgrounds during the week of the fair.

Youth will need to get their pictures taken, at the Sr. Fair Board Office, during the following dates and times:

Monday, June 11            9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Tuesday, June 12           9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Wednesday, June 13       9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Thursday, June 14          9:00am – 8:00 pm

Friday, June 15              9:00am – 4:00 pm

Saturday, June 16           9:00am – 4:00 pm

Monday, June 18            9:00am – 4:00pm

Tuesday, June 19           9:00am – 4:00pm

Wednesday, June 20       9:00am – 8:00pm

Thursday, June 21          9:00am – 4:00pm

Friday, June 22              9:00am – 4:00pm

Monday, June 25            9:00am – 4:00pm

Tuesday, June 26           9:00am – 4:00pm

Wednesday, June 27       9:00am – 4:00pm

Thursday, June 28          9:00am – 4:00pm

The Sr. Fair Board has set a fee of $10 for all photo ids NOT made by THURSDAY, June 28 at 4:00 p.m.

As you can see, there are evening and weekend times in an effort to give parents as much flexibility as possible. Youth will have their picture taken during one of these times and get their badge made. They will receive this badge when they check an exhibit in at the fair on Saturday, June 30  or Sunday, July 1  Sr. Fair Board has set a fee of $10 for all badges that need to be replaced during fair week. For questions about photo identification badges, please call the Sr. Fair Board office at 382-2558.  If you do not pick up your photo id by Sunday, July 1, you will need to pay to get onto the fairgrounds.

 

FAIR PASSES FOR PARENTS & ADVISORS

Passes will only be available for purchase and the Senior Fair Board Office NOT the Extension Office. Parents are encouraged to buy a week long fair pass at the Sr. Fair Board Office.  They are $25.00 for the week. Daily admission to the fair is $8.00.

Only advisors who have met orientation, club attendance, and administrative requirements (finger printing, application and attended policy 1.50 training) will receive their fair membership pass at a reduced price ($15.00-Advisor Pass, $25.00-Season Pass and Membership). A membership pass includes the right to vote for board members.  The ½-price advisor pass allows advisors to enter open class, but does not give you the right to vote or parking privileges.  Passes will be available at the Senior Fair Board Office after Monday, June 11 through the fair.
