The 6th annual Gallop for the Gravy 5K & 10K Run/Walk is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 a.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Marion County 4-H program and its members.

Carving New Ideas Camp

Missing 4-H Camp Ohio? Here’s a great opportunity for this fall!

Open to 8th-12th grade 4-H members, Carving New Ideas is a camping opportunity for older youth, concentrating on the principles of critical thinking and program facilitation. Campers will go for the gold during their time at Camp Ohio. The focus of the camp will be healthy living, striving to make winning strides in each of the health focuses of the camp. Sessions and speakers, along with other fun, will focus on making us all healthier, one gold medal at a time.

Each project book contains information and activities for members to explore as an organized group project or at home under the guidance of a parent or interested adult. When choosing a project, consider your interests, background, what is necessary to start the project, and the resources available to help you complete it.

Call for Marion County 4-H Camp Counselors

Calling all Marion County 4-H Youth who will have completed grades 9-12 as of the summer of 2018! Camp counselor applications are now available.

New in 2018: Camp counselor applications can be completed online! Counselors will be able to fill out their application, and submit their references’ contact information via the online application.
