I’ve found the sure way to beat the winter blahs: Meet, greet and eat donuts with undergraduate students!

We held our first Tweetup—Donuts with the Dean—yesterday in the Physics Research Building. We invited our students via Twitter. And they came.

We are now officially halfway through February. Who knew it would be such an ongoing test of one’s survival skills? Normally, it is a great month. The days grow longer; the weather becomes bearable; and every day spring edges a bit closer.

February 2014 has not been normal; still there is much to celebrate.
