Steve Brady, Ohio State Extension Educator, Warren County, will host a session called Expanding Your Cultural Intelligence. The session will explore the concept of cultural intelligence (one’s capability to function effectively in situations characterized by cultural diversity) and is designed to help participants increase effectiveness in working with all students, faculty and staff, regardless of their cultural background. It will take place on November 17 from 11 a.m. to noon. The event is open to all OSAS staff, and registration is required. Director, Outreach and Recruitment, Mark A. Cortez from Undergraduate Admissions will discuss creative suggestions for recognizing employees’ outstanding work on October 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. The event is open to all OSAS staff, and registration is required.
