Madison County 4-H Youth Attend OSU Fashion Show

Written by Trenton Vance, Member of Clover Clippers 4-H Club

On April 13, 2019, twenty-six Madison County 4-H members who are taking a sewing project, and advisors and parents, went to The Ohio State University to see a fashion show. The university’s Fashion Production Association hosted their annual fashion show with a theme of “Next”. The participating OSU students had to design and construct garments that they thought would represent future fashion trends. Our members who attended were very inspired by the creativity and are hoping to make this show an annual tradition!

4-H members taking sewing projects can attend any or all of the sewing clinics offered by the 4-H Clothing Key Leader – Daphne Hedgecock. Dates for these clinics are below:

  • April 27, 9:00am-4:00pm, Canaan Township Hall, Plain City
  •  May 11, 9:00am-4:00pm, Hope Church, Rt. 42, Plain City
  • June 12, 20, 21 – 9:00am-4:00pm, Canaan Township Hall, Plain City
