3 Takeaways from the class

1. The number one thing I learned throughout this class was how even though most learning is only, if you use all of technologies resources, you can still have a very fulfilled and successful learning experience. I think it is important for all students to take advantage of these opportunities as even if school were to be all in person, these resources would still help you become a better student.

2. I also learned the importance of keeping a daily schedule and setting reminders for yourself to make sure you are doing your work on a consistent basis. Through using apps such as trello and study manager, I was able to work hard on this and be a better student by using these resources.

3. The final thing I was able to notice throughout this class was how important is to be the best version of a student you can. With having motivation, this class showed me there is so many resources I can use in order to make myself a better student, and I will continue to use these resources throughout the rest of my academic career.

The pros and cons of notability, quizlet, and trello.

Notability:

I think that the most beneficial thing I learned throughout this week was learning more about notability and all the positive things the software produces. Being able to upload slides from google and able to write notes on readings on my iPad has been super beneficial to my studies. These benefits have helped me feel way more productive and even get a way better grasp on the material at hand.

Using the note taking on notability is super beneficial because it gives people access to write and send things through online, which is especially important in the times we are in. They make online learning a lot easier and connecting.  A few cons are that you need an Apple Pencil and some people don’t prefer drawing and writing with one which could have a negative impact.

Quizlet:
Quizlet is another very helpful study app that has far more pros then cons as we see with notability.  The many different options of studying your flash cards is more than beneficial, as well as the words and definitions being read to you.  This is a great place to pile a lot of flash cards into technology and gives you many different ways of studying it.

Some of the cons to quizlet would be the fact that your aren’t handwriting any of the information which some people find to be a disadvantage when studying and trying to remember information. There’s also always flaws in technology that could also be avoided by just simply writing.
Trello:
Trello is a great way to set all your reminders, as well as having push notifications to remind you each day when you may need to take part in a certain activity. This gives people the ability to constantly be reminded of their priorities without forgetting them.
Some cons to trello are that it’s just an extra calendar app but there are many benefits that make it more simple and basic than your phones standard calendar app.
