Quotes:

“I see that kind of thing less and less these days. Maybe there aren’t many lost things around anymore, or maybe… Maybe I’ve just stopped noticing them. Too busy doing other stuff. I guess.”

Study Questions:

1. Should we care about the things that should not appear in our life like those lost things who are not fitting well with the background?

2. What are defined as lost things?

3. Why does the main character take care of the first lost thing, but ignore the other ones?

4. Could there be any chances that those lost things are not really lost, but born there with reasons?

5. Why couldn’t the little boy notice those “weird things” in life as he grew up?

Themes:

1.We are living in the real life with our selfish interest. Finally, we lost ourselves and forget who we are because we are too busy chasing our goals and fitting into the world. We have to work hard to become successful.  This film tells us that we need to be excited about things in the world, we need to keep our innocence and treasure our curiosity.

2. We are living in a dilemma as we grow up. We need to find ourselves and care about our interests.
