We have been tasked by the National Parks Service to create an Advance Electric Vehicle for visitor and staff transportation that will provide an entertaining and safe journey throughout the parks, while reducing human impact on the landscape.
The parks service requested a vehicle that utilizes an electric monorail system, which will greatly reduce the overall footprint that transportation has on the finite space within the parks. The electric vehicles will produce no pollution in the park and provide access to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. Because the vehicle’s primary utilization will be in the transportation of park guests and staff, safety and reliability are of upmost importance.
