Join Appalachia artist Barbara “Scout ” Ery as she shares her journey as an artist and hand papermaker growing and working with Kozo, or Japanese mulberry. Scout will share how living and creating in Appalachia led her to discover her roots in this timeless region, the ancient art of Japanese papermaking, and how nature shapes her creative practice.
