Design director for interior design is a job which is responsible for the decisions of design duties. In other words, the job is for people to design for the distribution of furnitures and how the house should look like. They need to fit the design with the costumer’s favor and the area of the room. They need to use the limit space to create the most beautiful and proper room. They need to cooperate with customers, outer partners, and making computer models for exhibit for customers. The medium annual salary for it is about $92,530. Bachelor’s degree are required for the position. For myself, I think it is a good job for me. Because I love traveling and living in different luxury hotels. For me, I will choose the best or the most beautiful hotel room when I arrived in a city. I love staying in these hotels because I love the design of luxury. I want my future house will have the same style like hotel in China which one word can explain — luxury. My current major is math, and it is different from this job. However, I can use accurate numbers to create a perfect design of room. Math and design is similar in some ways. They all pursue the perfect way. For my salary part, I am satisfied with it when I earn enough money for my trips. It is a good way for us to raise salary by taking more education. However, if you can gain the good feedback from your customers, your salary will raise a lot. I think this job is very meaningful, because you can get the happiness from your customer when you help them to develop a perfect and dreaming home for their future lives. Everyone should have a perfect and warm home. When I get the money that is enough for my trips around the world, I am satisfied.

Landscape Designer

A landscape designer can win a bid by re-modeling the landscape and cost of the landscape. They need to work with the actual construction teams and monitor the whole process. They need to consider various part of problems: Climate, specification, cost. The lowest degree required for the job is bachelor. And medium annually salary is $48,032. For myself, I do not think it is very fit for me. Because as a landscape designer, I need to know the culture and dig deep into the city or district in order to make a landscape. I am not sure that is me. I do not like to stay at one place for a long time for a design. However, math is related to the job which need math to calculate costs. The major is similar to the job which is all need numbers to calculate with no mistakes. I am pleased with the salary. I am not sure whether I can improve the salary by having more degrees. I think it is meaningful, but the landscape should design by the local people. Because they are the people who knows the cultures the most. The satisfaction of this job cannot be valued as money. It is meaningful and important for people.

Yuxuan Liu’s personal profile

Hello, everyone. I am Yuxuan Liu from Shanghai, China. And I am a boy. I love playing basketball and doing workouts. So I obviously have a favorite NBA team which is Golden State Warriors. And my favorite basketball player is Klay Thompson which is one of the members in Warriors. As a traditional Chinese, my favorite food is a kind of Chinese food which called Hot pot. When you are having the Hot Pot, you can put anything you want to eat into the pot and wait for them cooked. Then you take them out and use your sauce to eat them. It is very delicious.

 

 

 

I went to Shanghai United International School — Wanyuan Campus. You can find it is an  international school

 from its name. All the teachers in the school is foreigners, and they are kind and friendly. We use English to communicate and learn in the school. I used to play for

the basketball team in high school. We had been to Guangzhou for Acamis Rewards as a team. The trip was really good and we had lots of other teams from different parts of China came to get the prize. At last, we won the third place in the game. It was a really interesting experience for me.

 

I chose to come to OSU for three reasons. First, I do not like to live in New York City. I  think it is too crowded and expensive. The buildings are old and streets are not so clean. Thesecond

 reason is that I have no schoolmates and anyone I knew before comes to OSU. So it is a completely new trip for me. I can make plenty of new friends 

here in Ohio. The last one is that OSU is the nearest school to my girl friend’s school which located in San Diego, California. So I can fly to her every holiday. I plan to study Finance Math here and minor Accounting. Because I think these two subjects can help me for my future career.
