Karaoke Night

Hiya folks!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Karaoke night, it was an absolute blast and it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves.

As always, let LAB know if you would like to run a program at Lincoln, and we would love to set it up!

Acme Canine and The Post Dispatch

Hopefully, everyone has had an enjoyable break. While we were out taking a well-deserved rest, the Columbus Post Dispatch published a story on the rise of anxiety among college students which featured the collaborative effort between the Lincoln Activities Board and Acme Canine. Here is the first line that was written by Jennifer Smola at the CPD:

The fluffy fur of Goldie the labradoodle provided a diversion from the stress of finals. The howl of Penny the Bluetick Coonhound blocked out the pressure of exams. And for a little while, the pushing of a Crayola pencil on a coloring page helped cool the end-of-semester panic.

You should be able to read the full article here and see our very own residents in the group study lounge 😀 : http://www.dispatch.com/news/20171230/colleges-help-students-destress-as-anxiety-depression-rise/1

Acme Canine Day

It is exciting to see that our work has already have had an impact on the student body, and I am excited to see what you guys do next!

Good luck, have fun this semester! Congrats!

Events Calendar Up and Running

Hiya folks!

I finally figured out how to embed the Google calendar into the events page, you should be able to see it now on the events page by clicking on the “Events” tab or by clicking here.

It is a bit empty right now, so next step will be to fill it in with the events! If you are a resident or staff member who has an event coming up at or near Lincoln, or you just think there should be an event that should be featured on the calendar, reach out to Connor, our secretary, at sohalski.1@buckeyemail.osu.edu.
