The Ohio State University had the honor of hosting the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) National Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Commission (NEDIC) Summit in Columbus, OH, June 26-29, 2022. The LIFT Lab team was asked to help facilitate the use of quality improvement methods at the summit with the goal of improving the “enrollment, retention and graduation of racial and ethnic students from Black, Native American or Tribal Groups, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Latinx groups in physical therapist professional education programs and increasing the number of individuals from historically marginalized racial and ethnic groups among faculty and leadership roles.”
