MOLA Cafetería

This cafeteria is a beautiful little spot in Granada. It has a few pros and cons! My overall rate: 3/10

Espresso in MOLA Cafetería

I ordered an espresso here in MOLA, and I have a few things to say about that…

First of all, I don’t think there is enough espresso in this drink! That’s one thing about Spanish coffee- it is NOT strong or plentiful (unless it’s mostly made of milk).

Second of all, it is a 25 minute walk from my home stay- which is a bit much. Though I do live far away from basically everything.

Thirdly, when I ordered my coffee at 4:25 pm, the man at the register told me that I would have to leave by 5 if I was studying because they get busy around 5. That was very rude! I am a paying customer and they should not do that.

Lastly, the cafe is a bit expensive for Granada. My espresso was €1.40 and that was the cheapest thing on the menu. Usually drinks are €1.20 for way more coffee anyways.

However, this cafe DOES have wifi, which is nice because most cafes in Spain do not.

The atmosphere is also adorable and very modern.

Overall rate: 3/10

Toledo

Here are some pics from Toledo! Ask me about any one in particular but right now I don’t really want to give each photo a description. Toledo was super amazing and beautiful and cold!!

bienvenidos a España

“Please, just take me to Madrid!”

My flights got all messed up and there was a lot of traveling around NC before I finally boarded an airplane.

I arrived in London airport with a three hour gap, so I got some brekky at Starbucks.

About to board the plane to Madrid!

I was very happy to finally be on the airplane!

Here I am above London

A quick snapshot of the monitor before we landed in London:

Finally I arrived in Madrid after a bunch of confusion. Here I am drinking some wine! Delicious!

The beautiful cathedral! We saw many sights and explored the city. I saw Museo del Prado AND Reina Sofia museum of modern art!
