Feed Columbus – September 2016

Sometimes great experiences are stumbled upon rather than sought out. That was the case when I discovered the Feed Columbus event, put on by City Campus, Cbus Loves, and Lifeline Christian Mission, during an involvement fair. In this occasion I helped package over 30,000 nutritious meals during my two hours, in an attempt to curb hunger in Columbus and Haiti. This event allowed me to serve my new Columbus community as well as enjoy making a difference in the lives of others miles away.img_9574

About Me

My name is Lindsay Lieber, I am from Bay Village, OH, and I am a first year student at The Ohio State University. I am a FisherDirect student at the Fisher College of Business, with plans to specialize in Finance and International Business. Following my involvement and leadership position in my high school’s culture club, Team Africa, I plan to stay active in global affairs through my participation in International Affairs Scholars. At Ohio State, I am part of She’s the First, and the Team Development Committee for OSU Relay for Life. In the next few years I plan to gain an internship and a study abroad experience to become fluent in Spanish. During my free time I like to dance, do yoga, paint, and travel. Feel free to contact me with any questions or advice about my time at Ohio State!
