This trip is for current Living History members or members interested in taking the project next year. On April 26, 2025 a presentation will be offered at 1:00pm describing how Living History and Museums are both aspects of public history. WWII artifacts will also shown including items belonging to a sailor who received a Bronze Star for shooting down a Messerschmitt on D-Day and items from one of JFK’s PT-109 shipmates. The museum opens at 10:00am and closes at 4pm. Cost is $5 per person. You are welcome to enjoy the museum on your own around the presentations. An adult is required to stay with members during the visit. If you have questions, contact Allen County Living History Instructor, Anne Smedley at jsmedley@wcoil.com. To register, click HERE.
