2022 Project Requirements

Please be sure to review the 2022 Licking County 4-H Project Requirements. This document share information that will be important as you prepare your project for judging. The beginning section of the document has information specific to Clothing, Food, and Special Interest projects as well as information about awards and general information. The rest of the document gives information specific to each project.

REMINDER: Early Project Judging

Licking County 4-H Project Judging will take place on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 (more details to come soon). If you will be unable to attend judging that day, please plan to attend Early Project Judging on Friday, June 24, 2022. Early Project Judging will take place by appointment at the Licking County Extension Office between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm. If you need to attend early judging, please call our office by Wednesday, June 22nd at 740-670-5315 to schedule your early judging appointment. We will need to know the name of the member being judged and what project(s) s/he will need judged.

 

4-H Summer Camp and Cloverbud Day Camp Information

If your child is registered to attend 4-H Summer Camp, their packet went in the mail on Wednesday, June 8th. If you haven’t received your packet yet, you can view the information HERE. Please pay special attention to the drop-off/pick-up procedures and the camp packing list.

If your child is registered to attend 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp, their packet was delivered by email on Friday, June 10th (it was sent to the email address that was used with the camp registration). If you haven’t received it, please check your junk/spam folder. You can also view the packet HERE. If you are bring both a summer camper, and Cloverbud day camper, please follow the drop-off schedule for Cloverbud Day Camp.

We look forward to all of our campers joining us at 4-H Camp Ohio! Please remember that if your plans have changed or if your child is ill and unable to attend Summer Camp or Cloverbud Day Camp, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments to our plans.

4-H Project Judging Workshop

The Licking County 4-H Food and Fashion Board will once again host a 4-H Project Judging Workshop on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 6:30pm at the Licking County Extension Office. This workshop will focus on preparing for and what to expect at 4-H Project Judging on Tuesday, July 12th. While a portion of the program will focus specifically on food and clothing projects, they will also share information on special interest project and answer question you may have. This event is free and no registration is required.

REMINDER: Hartford Fair Entries Due!

Please remember that all entries for the 2022 Hartford Fair are due to the fair office by 5:00pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Completed entries must be submitted with payment to be considered complete. Advisors are encouraged to schedule a time to turn in your club’s entries to Beth. You can email her at beth@hartfordfair.com for dates and times. Please don’t wait until the last minute to get your entries submitted! The Premium Book and entry forms can be found at https://www.hartfordfair.com/hartford-fair-book. If you have a question on how to fill out your entries, please check with your advisor or contact the fair office with questions.

REMINDER: Hartford Fair Royalty Application Due Soon

The 2022 Hartford Fair King and Queen Application is due by 5:00pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022 to the Hartford Fairgrounds office. Applicants must be at least 16 as of August 1, 2022 and not older than 19 as of December 31, 2022 and must have a Junior Fair Exhibit at the 2022 Hartford Fair.
