Sept. 2021: I will be joining Prof. Justin Mankin’s Climate Modeling and Impacts Group as a postdoc research associate at Dartmouth College!

Jul. 2021: I successfully defended my Ph.D. in Geography at the Department of Geography at The Ohio State University. My dissertation is titled “Dominant Drivers of Hydrological Change and Prediction of Future Streamflow in the Contiguous United States”. Check out the department’s Twitter.

Jun. 2021: My first-authored paper is published in the Journal of Hydrology: “Investigating spatial heterogeneity of the controls of surface water balance in the contiguous United States by considering anthropogenic factors”. Check it out!

May 2021: My first-authored paper is published in the Water Resources Research: “Identifying the Dominant Drivers of Hydrological Change in the Contiguous United States”. Check it out!

May 2021: I am honored to receive the E. Willard & Ruby S. Miller Fellowship ($4,000), the highest recognition the Department of Geography at OSU is giving to Ph.D. students.

Apr. 2021: I am honored to receive the 1st place poster presentation award ($200) in the area of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the 2021 Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum. My presentation is about the uncertainties of estimation of potential evapotranspiration in the continental U.S. Check out my abstract!

Jan. 2021: I gave a poster presentation at the AMS 2021 Annual Meeting. My presentation is about “Climatic, physiographic, and anthropogenic factors controlling spatial and temporal variability of water balance within the Budyko framework”.

Dec. 2020: I gave a poster presentation at the AGU 2020 Fall Meeting. My presentation is about “Climatic, physiographic, and anthropogenic factors controlling spatial and temporal variability of water balance within the Budyko framework”.

Nov. 5, 2020: I am honored to receive the 2nd place student poster presentation award ($100) at the Water Management Association of Ohio Conference.

Oct. 30, 2020: I am honored to receive the 1st place Ph.D. student paper presentation award ($125) at the East Lakes Division of the American Association of Geographers. My talk is about “Developing Impacts-based drought thresholds for Ohio”. Check out my presentation.

Oct. 24, 2020: I am honored to receive the AAG Annual Meeting Student Grant for the 2021 AAG Annual Meeting. I will give an oral presentation at the hydroclimatology session. Looking forward to meeting some of you in April 2021 virtually!

Sept. 27, 2020: I am honored to receive the best oral presentation award at the fourth Midwest Student Conference on Atmospheric Research.

Jun. 1, 2020: I am honored to get my doctoral dissertation funded through the National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Award ($17,023; with PI Steven Quiring). Check out my public abstract.
