RESEARCH STUDY: The Equitas Health Institute and The Ohio State University researchers collaborated to develop a tobacco cessation resource guide for the LGBTQ community.

Study details: Study participation involved two 60-minute online focus groups and short questionnaire among adults aged 18 years or older, who lived in Ohio, identified as an LGBTQ community member, and ever smoked cigarettes or other tobacco products. Participants received a $20 gift card for focus group participation.

Results were presented at the American Public Health Association 2022.

Developing health communications for LGBTQ young adult women

This pilot study focused on developing effective health communications for e-cigarette prevention among LGBTQ young adults using an online crowdsourced sample.
