About Me

eprf              My name is Abigail Leslein and I am from Logan, Ohio. I am a first year sophomore majoring in neuroscience and premed and I am also part of the ACES scholar program. In high school I was involved in Key Club, National Honor Society, competitive cheerleading, school cheerleading, and community service. I graduated Suma Cum Laude and fourth in my class. My experiences in high school definitely helped shape me into the person that I am today. Being involved in so much gave me so many different qualities that I will need in college and in my future.

I have many goals set for myself during my time at Ohio State. I am very passionate about learning, so being dedicated to my education is definitely a goal of mine. I plan to get involved in an undergraduate research project and am even considering studying abroad. I want to get the most I can out of my four years at Ohio State. I don’t plan on wasting a second!

Another goal that I have for myself is to volunteer for community service. I consider getting involved in the community very important. I plan to take every opportunity that I can because I love helping others and giving back.

My potential “professional” goal is to attend medical school at Ohio State. I want to become an anesthesiologist and go into pain management. Medicine is something I am very passionate about because it will allow me to help others. I want to do something meaningful with my life, and being able to help people the way that a doctor can is my dream.

All in all, I am very excited to see what is in store for me in these next four years. I can’t wait to make many new friends and experience amazing things at Ohio State. It will definitely be a challenge, but I’m sure it will all be worth it in the end.
