For Greater’s Ice Cream it is a bit far from from campus and I would recommend to take the bus due to the fact that there is hardly sidewalk halfway when you try to get there which makes it very dangerous. The customer service was very nice but when I walked in it was empty and most of the workers were in the back. The cookies and cream ice cream was not like I expected it tasted almost like an ice cream sandwich only just in a cone. Next for Pattycake Bakery the workers were very polite. There was someone in front of me in the line and while one of the workers were helping him out decide what to buy someone else assisted me and both were very helpful and polite I would recommend going even the oatmeal cookie I received was delicious. Pistacia Vera was a new thing for me this was my first time having macaroons and I have to say I am sad to have waited this long to have tried them. not only were the macaroons good but so were the employees I was not sure what I wanted to try and they helped me choose a variety of flavors to try. I would say if you’re ever in the mood for macaroons head to The North Market. my favorite experience I would have to say is when I went to Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop because I enjoyed walking into a candy shop and seeing an old fashion place and not too modern. Also, the vast variety of candy as well I even took my friends and we all walked out with a huge bag of candy like kids with their bags of halloween candy. I learned about Columbus is that there is a vast variety of dessert places to enjoy and each serving different things. I also learned that if you’re new to a place try to explore what’s around you. This project has lead me to explore new food and dessert places around Columbus. If you want to complete this same list try to spread out the ice creams more apart because sometimes it can bother a person to have ice cream back to back. Also, to try and find a place to eat before because it can usually just be a snack rather than a meal. As well as that some of these places are expensive such as for most of the ice cream places a cone would cost five dollars and so would a cookie. The list is just scratching the surface of the variety of desserts in Columbus but I would recommend doing some of your own research to find other places rather than just on this list. Although first look at what you’re interested in to satisfy your inner child or even go on a date with someone to pick up a small snack.
