About Me

Hi, I’m Zoe Leciejewski!  I’m so excited to be a freshman this year at The Ohio State University, pursuing chemical engineering.  I’m from Hudson, Ohio and attended Western Reserve Academy for high school.

During my time at Ohio State, I would like to succeed academically both inside and outside of the classroom by doing well in my classes and pursuing clubs and research opportunities related to my major and interests.  I became interested in chemical engineering through my internship at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in the propulsion lab during the summer before my junior year in high school and I will continue that passion for research and learning at Ohio State.  I will also join clubs such as the Women in Engineering and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

I want to continue to build on my leadership experience from high school where I held positions as a prefect and senior representative for the honor council, a board devoted to upholding student integrity in the classroom.  I will do this through participation in clubs and organization on campus and also through future internships and volunteering opportunities.

I am very excited to begin this new chapter of my life here at Ohio State.  Go Bucks!
