1/7/20 – Artifact #1

This is a picture of my Delta Sigma Pi sweatshirt and the bids I received from the business fraternities I rushed this past fall semester. These articles are very important to me, because deciding to join a business frat was the best decision I could have made. The bids are important to me because receiving them made me really proud of the work I put in and how I performed in my interviews with them. I chose DSP, and found so many amazing people that are now some of my best friends. The sweatshirt belonged to my older cousin, who was a part of DSP here a few years ago. I look up to her as a role model, and she was actually the one who pushed me to participate in rush that fall. She gave me this for my initiation, and I wear it all the time. With these experiences I learned to be more confident in my abilities and feel proud of my accomplishments.

About Me

Hi! My name is Katarina Lechman, and I’m a first-year studying Information Systems from Cleveland, Ohio. I chose this major because I have a passion for computer science and technology, but am interested in a more business-focused career rather than software development. Outside of my academic interests, I also really like to run and workout, listen to or play music, explore new places while traveling, and watch documentaries. I enjoy learning and experiencing new things, and am excited to accomplish this through my years at Ohio State!
