Another goal that I have set up for myself to achieve during my time at Ohio State is to further develop my leadership skills. In high school, I took part in many leadership opportunities. Whether it’s being the president of my high school’s orchestra or upholding an officer position of student organizations, I wanted to make an impact on others and to help influence positive change within society.

Global Awareness
One planned activity that I have set up in the long term future is global awareness. Because I grew up in a predominately white area of Ohio, I felt that I’ve lost touch with my culture and I feel that I still have many things to explore. Since coming to Ohio State, I have encountered many people from many upbringings and backgrounds that I have yet to hear about. During my time here at Ohio State, I want to continue to become more aware of the different types of cultures around me since I feel that I can learn more about the world and more about myself as a result.

About Me
Hello! My name is Dante Le and I’m a first-year at Ohio State University. I’m majoring in Psychology and I hope to be a Clinical Psychologist in the future. My academic interests are mainly Abnormal Psychology, so I’m primarily interested in irregular/unusual behaviors, emotions, and thoughts.
I enjoy researching and gaining knowledge/insight on mental disorders and how they impact individuals who suffer from these disorders. I find that you can learn a lot from simply observing individuals and their behaviors/interactions.
My ultimate goals are to use my voice to speak for those who cannot safely speak up for themselves and to listen to those who feel like they are alone and feel like they’re not being heard. I don’t want anyone to feel as though they’re powerless to make a change to the things occurring around them.
