On August 28th, Licking County served as a host for the 2018 Clean Sweep Program which provided free disposal of farm pesticides. We collected 7481 pounds of waste. This included 28 pounds of PBTs (Persistent Bioaccumalative and Toxics) – the really bad stuff! It is great to have these unwanted pesticides out of our environment and safely disposed of by the EPA.
