Hello 2021 Lawrence County 4-H Families:
First, I just want to say thank you! Thank you to our volunteers and families who worked hard to recruit and enroll our members this year. I know the new 4HOnline system was a little tough to navigate and I appreciate your patience.
I know many are eager to get started on their 4-H project books. We do have lots of 4-H project books in stock and if they aren’t there, we can get them in usually within the week. Clubs may take up an order or members can contact our office directly. Orders can also be placed on the OSU Extension Publications website and there are a few projects available for free download at Perfect Stay-at-Home Projects | Ohio 4-H Youth Development
Also, I know livestock youth are curious about Quality Assurance expectations and how to get their training before the May 1st deadline. Available Quality Assurance trainings can be found at Lawrence County Fair | Lawrence (osu.edu). Livestock tag-in is also a hot topic right now, we will be holding Lamb, Goat, and Hog Tag-In on April 24th, 8:00 – 10:00am at the fairgrounds. Exhibitors must bring their animals to the grounds that morning to be tagged. Rabbit Tattooing will be June 12th, 8:00 – 10:00 am at the fairgrounds. Market Chickens must be ordered by April 5th, by visiting 2021 Lawrence County 4-H Market Chicken Order Form
Lawrence County 4-H Horse Projects must have their Equistep Training and Project ID Form completed by April 15th. Find the Project ID Form and Equistep link at Lawrence County 4-H Horse Projects.
Lawrence County 4-H Seniors, there is a 4-H scholarship available to you. It can be found as an online survey at Lawrence County 4-H Scholarship. The deadline has been extended to April 15th. The committee awards $250.00 scholarships.
