Courtney D’Angelo

Courtney D'Angelo

Normally, I don’t like doing group or partner projects with people I don’t know, because it’s usually very awkward. I was worried this project would be like that since I had never met Courtney before. Luckily, the project wasn’t awkward at all, it was quite the opposite actually. We hit it off right away and there wasn’t a single awkward or dull moment. I learned way more about her then I ever thought I would, and I had a great time doing this project.

In order to get to know each other’s personality before the photo shoot, Courtney met up for milkshakes. We talked about a ton of things and got to know each other pretty well. Then, a few days later, we met up at night and roamed the campus and took tons of candid and action pictures of each other just being weird and being ourselves. Some of the pictures I got of Courtney are of her dancing, dipping her feet in mirror lake, running around, climbing through bushes and tons of other weird, dorky and fun things.

The picture all the way on the left is one of the first pictures I took. We got to mirror lake and the first thing she did was turn around and do that, so I figured it fit pretty well.

The second picture is actually four pictures layered on top of each other. We were playing with different camera settings and she found one that makes her look transparent. So, this is four of those pictures. They show her running, cartwheeling, doing a jump like she would if she was dancing, and spinning. All four show her happy, and very energetic personality.

The third picture is Courtney making a weird face from behind a tree. Courtney loves nature, and trees, so we each took pictures from behind this one. This shows her personality because 1) she loves trees, and 2) she’s a very dorky, fun person that will actually climb through bushes just for a picture.
