My Artifacts Playlist

  1. This song reminds me a lot of my girlfriend and my childhood because I jammed a lot to it in my child hood and I jam a lot to it now with my girlfriend. The Tarzan sound track is our album.
  2. Not only do I really identify with this song 😉, it was also the first rap song I memorized, and it set off a chain of me starting to like (not derogatory) but like, witty rap.
  3. and 4. These are from my two favorite musicals sung by my favorite musical theatre actor. I listen to musicals a lot so it made sense to put my favorite songs from both my fav musicals in here.
  4. (See above)
  5. This song is really funny, but the reason it’s in here is that it reminds me of the first few months of college, making friends with everyone in the chocolate trail.
  6. I used to listen to a lot of dubstep, and if I could only listen to one thing of dubstep I’d chose this. If anyone ever asked for a recommendation, this is what I would point them to.
  7. This song reminds me a lot of playing drums in jazz band. I played this song in high school and it’s really syncopated and laid back and I just love it.
  8. The Beatles were the first band I ever really got super into, and I know just about every word to most of the songs. Sometimes my mom will ask me to sing this one to her because it’s her fav and it reminds me of her and it’s also one of my favs.
  9. This song reminds me a lot of all the shows I watch. I watch so much tv, that it actually kind’ve defines part of who I am. I really love the television medium. This song is played in every season finale of supernatural. And it’s also just a really great song.

Artifacts

IMG_1912I did my photo project with Baylie Schwamberger. It was really fun to meet a new person and be forced to interact with new people. Especially new arts scholars :-). When we got together, she had a very clear idea of where we should go for her picture, but I still had like no clue on where we should go for mine. She said that her favorite place on campus was mirror lake so we went down there and thought about what would describe her personality. She said that she really liked the ducks down there, so we gathered around some ducks and contemplated the shot we could take. She said she wanted it to be of the ducks and of the fountains because she felt like she identified with that. I guess I agree :-). She was very nice and funny, and not at all shy. She was a great person to have on this project, as she was very easy to meet, and instantly get along with. The ducks in the oval are like that too, as they seem like very nice creatures, but they also have a lot of character. She also wanted the fountain in the shot and I could dig that too. She was kinda like the fountain in that, I will like she was exploding with just awesome traits and humor, although I kind’ve only saw that through a veil because we didn’t have enough time to get to know each other enough. Doing this project makes me even more excited for the short north project, because I can’t wait to meet even more new people.
