Going into college I knew I had interest in exploring more of what being in a business fraternity entails. One of the first business fraternities I talked to was Pi Sigma Epsilon- a marketing, sales, and management fraternity. Being a marketing major, I was immediately interested and decided to join. After only being in PSE for a week, I signed up to compete in the Second Annual Fisher Pro Am Sales Competition, which is hosted by PSE.

It was a competitive sales event where students were given a role play, and were to try to sell a product or service to a room full of actual sales executives from various companies. As nerve-wrecking as it was, it was one of the best experiences that taught me so many new things. I learned about sales and networking, as well as professional development.

I made new friends, learned new skills, and had fun. Going outside of my comfort sound was completely worth it, and I’m excited to compete again next year.
