Hello! Over the remainder of the semester I visited three more places. I went to Graters Ice Cream in Easton, Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, and The Columbus Commons. I went to Graters when I was in Easton shopping with my friends. I got the Mint chocolate Chip ice cream, and it was very good. If was a fun experience because I was with friend who both really like graters and I had never tried it before so it was fun to have them be excited to watch me try it. I would recommend it to a friend. It is a nice treat t have while shopping and is definitely worth the price.
When I went to Dirty Franks, my boyfriend and I took the COTA bus, which involved us not realizing that the buses stop running at certain times and having to move our trip to a later date, but we learned from our mistake and planned ahead for the next time we decided to go. When we arrived we were able to see the Columbus LOVE sign. We were not able to get our picture with it though because we did not have someone with us to take the picture 🙁 . Dirty Franks was a small restaurant with a big menu. There was lots to chose from including some very interesting hotdogs. The food was unique and amazing and so was the decoration. In the bathrooms there was chalkboard paint on the walls so that you could include your own touch on the place.
When we were walking to the bus to get back to Morrill sweet Morrill we came across the Columbus Commons, which were all lit up for Christmas. We decided to take a walk through it and it was beautiful. This definitely made me want come bac and enjoy the space in the future.
For someone who is looking to do the Columbus to do list, I would recommend including one event, one restaurant and one other destination. Going to different types of destinations made this experience all the better. I would also recommend planning ahead on when you want to do the things on the to do list as it can get a little chaotic with football season and finding time to go explore Columbus. My favorite place that I went to was Dirty Franks because I enjoyed the fun atmosphere, the food and the trip to get there. This experience has made me want to see more of Columbus. To be specific I would really enjoy spending a day walking around the shops in the short north.
