Food Business Management (suggested course sequence)
The food business management program is an Associate of Science degree. The program allows students to complete 50 percent of tahe requirements for a bachelors degree in food business management.
The program focuses on economics, marketing, human resources, and business practices related to the food industry.
As consumers continue to demand high-quality foods and the government sets more rigid standards for food safety and processing, jobs in food business will continue to grow. Students take a variety of general courses in English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, history, music, rural sociology, and economics.
Internships
Students who transition to the Columbus campus will complete a hands-on, practical internship in the food industry.
