I am now be studying graphic design in college, but I have actually been a designer since I could hold a crayon. While other kids played video games, I was drawing jerseys and teaching myself Photoshop. My passion today is athletic design for branding, social media, video, spirit wear, and jersey design.
I am a native of Columbus, Ohio, where I was a four-year varsity hockey player at Bishop Watterson High School and served as captain my final season. I also was my school’s student graphic designer and conducted a complete redesign of the hockey team’s look including logos, uniforms, social media, and print.
I am now a visual communication major at The Ohio State University and the intern for Ohio State football’s creative department.
As a freshman I attended West Virginia University and was a part of the West Virginia University Athletics Communications Office, where I designed social media graphics and print designs.
Design to me to being able to communicate a message or brand through symbols and doing so as simple and effective as possible. I get most of the inspiration from sports, but I also enjoy using at history and architecture to find inspiration when working on a project.
My dream is to work in the creative department of a collegiate athletic program of a professional sports team.
I love fonts and have never met a design program I didn’t want to learn.
