About Me

My name is Corey Kovalovich, and I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’m majoring in aviation engineering, and am currently finishing my private pilots license. This will allow me to fly virtually wherever I want with as many passengers as I want. My career goal is to become an airline pilot for American Airlines based in Philly. Outside of class, I enjoy playing squash (I’m ranked top 100 in the country), playing baseball and spike ball for fun, flying, watching/ going to baseball games, and hanging with the boys. At OSU, I’m #1 on the squash team, and I hope to join the flight team and maybe a few intramural sports teams next semester. The first picture is of me at London Heathrow on my way to India to visit my family freshman year of high school (on this trip I realized I wanted to pursue flying), and the second is me this year going to India again. I also have a Shiba Inu named Sheeba. I’m excited to spend my next 4 years here at OSU

Top 5 Strengths

1. Kindness- I would have been surprised if this wasn’t my number 1, because I think the majority of people would agree kindness is my top strength. I feel like I’m constantly looking to make other people’s days better and looking for ways to help others.

2. Love of learning- I enjoy mastering and learning new subjects for the most part. I don’t shy away from the unknown.

3. appreciation of beauty- I enjoy taking in the beauty of the environment around me, and for the most part, try to find beauty in unappealing situations.

4. Forgiveness- I’m pretty forgiving, just because I make a lot of mistakes, and expect other people to forgive me when I offend them.

5. prudence- for the most part, I feel like I put a lot of thought into things before I act. I do make mistakes a lot, but I try to reflect and learn from the past so I can prevent them in the future.
