Siqiong “Rosalie” Zhong, PhD Student

Siqiong (Rosalie) Zhong is a PhD student in the OSU Interdisciplinary Nutrition program. She has a master’s degree in Food Safety and Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering from Huazhong Agriculture University, China. She is interested in bioactive compounds and their metabolism and bioactivities in humans. Her previous research focused on the metabolism of berry polyphenol in humans using UHPLC-Q-TOF and UHPLC-QQQ. Her current research investigates chlorophyll derivative uptake and metabolism using Caco-2 cell culture.
