Division P
Our mission is to create an efficient and cost conserving advanced energy vehicle (or AEV) that will create job opportunities and economic growth for the people of Linden. We hope to accomplish this by allowing them to travel at little to no cost into Easton Town Center where more jobs are available. The track will also be able to grant children access to better education and neighborhoods where they can be more successful. The project has a strict budget, and therefore our engineering group will focus on cost conservation and efficiency in our transportation system. The AEV will run on a monorail system using electricity and air propulsion to transport people in the cars. Our design will be tested on a smaller scale with consideration for maneuverability and the ability to stop at several stations along the line so people have options for where they want to go. The AEV will run automatously using a coded language, which will save money and maintain efficiency throughout the system.
