AEV Evolution and Design
This design was chosen because when the motors were positioned on either end of the AEV instead of across the same plane, the energy consumed was nearly the same as it was when the propellers were across the same plane. It actually consumed slightly less. Next, it was decided that only one motor would run at a time because a significantly less amount of energy was consumed with one motor versus two motors.
