The main priority of Koffolt properties is to provide the Ohio State community and its students with a reliable mode of travel that reduces travel time and distance while also providing a consistent source of comfortable travel during times of ill-weather.

“If we create a transportation system that achieves Janet’s needs to travel across campus more efficiently, we can provide students with a quicker and less energy consuming trip.

Occupation: Student at The Ohio State University

Hobbies: Exercising, cooking, reading, and watching movies

Physical Mobility: She is very active, constantly working out at the North Rec.

Commuting Habits: Likes to ride her bike to her destinations to get exercise and also save time as well

Commuting Needs: In the winter riding a bike is near impossible because of the snow and other weather conditions, needs an effective transportation method around campus for winter months

Define Problem: Lack of efficient and reliable traffic route through campus to use, especially during inclement weather

Current Pains: Makes it hard to navigate around campus in groups, forced to to leave for destination well before needed arrival time, causes massive car backups at the various crosswalks around campus

Possible Gains: Shorten travel time for any pedestrian across campus, new travel route to use during inclement weather, reliable travel route through campus, eliminate traffic backups around campus
