What Needs to be Fixed
Pains of the Current System:
- Busses are late because of traffic congestion and other factors
- Other options (Uber/Lyft) are too expensive to use regularly
- The lack of space for luggage, many people, etc.
How we are Going to Fix It
Our proposed form of transit is the light rail. We found that this form of transport is similar to a bussing system, but with more benefits available. The light rail proposed would have set times for arrival and departure. The light rail would be more punctual than a bussing system. Similar to an above-ground subway, the light rail would not need to deal with traffic congestion.
