High school outreach

The Kirby lab runs the Ohio State University Stem Cell Education Program (OSCEP), a group effort by students, staff and postdocs to bring stem cell education in to high school classrooms in the Columbus, OH area.

Tyler Dause, Kirby lab grad student, shows high schoolers fun facts about stem cells.

Are you interested in OSCEP visiting your classroom? Email Dr. Kirby, kirby.224@osu.edu. We usually visit classrooms in person in the Spring time. We present a ~1hr interactive presentation about stem cells and regenerative medicine that is targeted to high school biology classes. We can present at the intro or AP level.
