~Who I Am~

To start out with the basics, I am an Honors Neuroscience major at the Ohio State University, and I plan to go to medical school.  I am a little all over the place when it comes to what kind of doctor I want to be. Although my major clearly shows my fascination with the brain,  my interests range from Cardiologist, to OBGYN, to Pediatric Oncologist and much more. So, my plan is to go into medical school with an open mind and go in the direction that suits me the best.  Now, lets get into the more personal details. I would say I am a pretty extroverted person, but that being said, I do enjoy spending time alone to recharge . My passions include fitness, travel, music, and reading. I love to be outdoors and do activities such as running, biking, wakeboarding, skiing, hammocking, and so much more. I am lucky enough to get to travel throughout the country and the world, which is where my love of taking pictures and editing videos really comes from.  I am always happy when I am reading a good book.  I am definitely a fan of the classic Harry Potter books, but my favorite kinds of books are mysteries or books that make me think differently and change my perspective on certain aspects of life.  Another huge thing about me is that I love kids.  I have been babysitting since I was twelve, and I love every minute of it.  Connecting with other people is extremely important to me, which I why I love getting involved in new activities.  If I can make even the slightest positive difference in another person’s life, I will feel as though I have accomplished something great. Overall, I try to appreciate every day that is given to me, and learn as much as I can while I make my way through life.
