Project Statement
I wanted to create my dream studio by focusing on a room that would make me excited to create. A large part of creating has to do with being in the right mindset. In order to have a successful area to create I would need a studio that brings peace and creates an environment where I would feel free. I did so by using a room that is noticeably at the top of some building where you can walk out to the balcony with a view, although the view I created was very subtly because it would have taken away from the room. I also created large windows across the wall that rise to the heightened ceilings. I wanted to add wood accents because it would help remind of me nature and to bring an even more peaceful environment. My goals were to accurately produce the room that I imagined in perspective drawing and to have it look as though it could be a real room somewhere as if it were in a magazine. I believe the outcome was successful although I do believe there are some aspects that seem inaccurate, but overall, I was happy with how the room turned out and the detailing that helps explain the materials.

Reflection
I learned how to draw objects through different perspectives and how to use new techniques to create accuracy in making objects look realistic. A challenge I overcame was learning how to set up objects in space to make the lengths accurate to what they would really look like and not just how I believe it should look. For example, the positioning of the furniture and lining up the couch with the screen, even making sure the widths of items were accurate such as the widths of the walls when looking outside of the room. I discovered how fun it was to be able to create a room just for me and be able to add anything I wanted and not have to worry about cost.
