Research
The research conducted was learning through the lecture slides during class about layout basics, such as proximity, alignment, consistency and hierarchy. We later as a class worked on our own pages and showed up next class with our rough drafts, which helped me to understand that it needed work. I wasn’t quite sure what I had wrong until I asked and found that I had too much and that I was focusing too much on a specific interest. I needed used inspirations from what the professor recommended which opened my eyes to not talk about just my love of cars and how they look but why i think the design of cars is important and what appeals to me about the process.
Iterations
I originally had everything planned out as to where I would put them and place them on the page in sort of a brick laying type fashion to fill in as much space and make the viewer after look over the entire page but it made the flow of reading sloppy and and not continuous so I had to change it.
Production
I’ve learned that even though i still have a lot on my final page I was able to size it down a large amount and and that I found that in this case less is more. I discovered that even though a layout may look good and it may not read well and causes the viewer to jump around. I also learned a new trick and that is to do a soft enter so that the spaces do not seem as large and keep it easier to read. I could still use some improvements on making things flow better while keeping an aesthetic look and not getting too carried away with one subject and widening my view to be able to talk more broadly, i become to passionate and focus on my interests.
