The resources that need to be collected outside of the United States are the fiber glass or epoxy and the rubber foil.
In order to trade resources both trading countries need to gain from the trade. In that case the two trading regions ask for what the other region has which isn’t a readily available resource to them. Since the United States has so many natural resources it is easy for them to trade with other countries since they have more to offer than the opposing trader.
Map of the trades that would occur in order for the needed resources.
Fiber glass or epoxy
- Australia and Sri Lanka
Rubber Foil
- Ghana and Thailand
The resource collecting has a very similar environmental part as the raw materials, and shipping and packing. These are all slightly correlated with each other and have become dependable on each other.
