Module #2

Greetings Students,

In this week’s module, we learned how time management and online learning come together. As a student’s learning time management skills are essential if we want to keep a balanced lifestyle of fun, sleep, and relaxation. Being able to balance everything can be a daunting task, but with the help of scheduling, time tracking, and prioritization a heavy workload can become more manageable once you break it down. In this module, we were asked to utilize Google Sheets to track our time throughout the week. Through this assignment, I will learn how I’m utilizing my time and where I am not. From the data I collect throughout the week I’d like to find areas where I can improve and spend my time more wisely. Since I began this assignment I’ve learned that I watch way too much tv and can find a better use of this time. So, in the next few days, I’m planning to cut out some of my tv time to either read or work ahead in my courses that I’m taking this semester, or find time to workout. Through this, I believe I’ll be able to find areas in my schedule for more sleep, more relaxation, and a happier me. As a task management tool and efficiency tool, Google Sheets can be a great tool for students to utilize if you find yourself not having enough time in a day. By using Google Sheets you can better manage your time which in turn can help create a balanced lifestyle of fun, sleep, and relaxation that every student should strive for to make sure that your mental health is in check.
