Campus Event
At this event we met in the Enarson Building and we had pizza. When we first got there, we played pictionary in our tables. One person drew a picture and the rest of us had to guess what was being drawn. It was really fun and it also made me feel more comfortable with the people at my table. Next, we listened to a presentation about street art. First, we were shown pictures of street art from the Columbus area, and then, we were shown street art from around the world. We also watched some clips about different street artists.
I thought it was really cool to see all the different types of street art and how they varied from place to place and even from artist to artist. We then talked about the messages that the art was trying to show and were asked to discuss, in our tables, what message we would like to send through street art if we could. I said I would like to spread positivity and make people smile or add beauty to an area. I like hearing other people’s responses, too.
This event was great to go to because I learned about something I didn’t know much about. It was also great becuase I was able to meet new people and have fun while learning.
