The Carmen dropbox will remain open for two days after the deadline of each assignment, with a 10% penalty for each day of late submission. It is your responsibility to submit your assignment on time, which means don’t wait for the last moment to submit your assignment. There will be no extension after two days of late submission.

Far too many students have asked for HW extensions. You are given a whole week to do your assignments. If there is something planned for the end of the week then do you HW earlier. There is no excuse for waiting until the end of the week and then asking for an extension if something happens. The class has more than 450 students, it is disruptive to setup carmen dropboxes individually for all the students who are asking for extensions. So please do your assignments as soon as they are posted.  Extensions should only be requested if you are sick for the whole week or some accident has affected you for the whole week. I am giving a whole week to you all for HWs, MTs and the Final, so please don’t take advantage of the system.
