Calculators are not allowed. However the MT problems are designed to give very simple answers. In addition, a small trigonometric table will be provided with common angles like 0, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees. Best advise is to draw the complex number in the complex plane, determine the quadrant it is in, and simply read off the angle form there.
