My name is Matthew Kerr. I am from Marysville Ohio (just thirty minutes northwest of campus) and I graduated from Marysville high school. In high school, I completed six AP classes. My favorite class was AP US Government and Politics. I was a member of the choir program for four years, and a member of the marching band for three years. I became a squad leader for the clarinet section in my senior year. In my senior year I also joined the mock trial program as an “attorney”.
I am the third member of my family to attend Ohio State. My brother, mother, and father all graduated from OSU. In college, I am currently a freshman pursuing a BA in Business Administration, with a specialization in Operations Management. I am a member of the Politics, Society, and Law scholars program, and I am heading into college with a pre-law academic focus.
I want music to continue to be a strong part of my life and, especially after watching my brother perform for so many years, my greatest short term goal right now is to become a member of the Ohio State Men’s Glee Club. My greatest and most far flung goal, in all honesty, would be to become a Justice on the Supreme Court.
