Elon Musk’s Hyperloop

Our group decided to investigate the developments of Elon Musk’s Hyperloop, his high speed train that would greatly improve travel through California in a very green and efficient way. By using pressure differences and green energy sources like solar panels, Musk planned to get people from L.A. to San Francisco at 800 miles per hour. This was in response to the fact that the United States has fallen behind in public transportation. All current modes are slower and less economically efficient than those in other modern countries.  This I learned was indicative of America’s aging infrastructure. Being able to greatly improve our transportation would help reduce our carbon footprint in the world and would also aid further development in the future.
