Sketch 4:
Prompt 19- Making a line drawing, the add another color or drawing. I took a picture before I added another color. I based this off of Marisol Escobar.
Sketch 3:
Prompt 3- creating a landscape using cross-contour lines. I used Louise Bourgeois art The Tapestry of My Childhood
Sketch 2:
I looked at Paul Cezanne’s drawing of fruit and it was full of color, I also noticed that the lines were not exact to the fruit being drawn. It was done more freely so when drawing this banana I tried not to get into too much detail and I tried not to erase my “mistakes”.
Sketch 1:
For this sketch I looked at both Dawn Clements Mrs.Jessica Drummond’s (My Reputation, 1946) and Erin Whites drawings. I was watching a movie and it came upon this scene where there was a doorway in the background and there was this candle chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I tried my best to draw the metal ring hold the candles, the chains and of course the candles. In the future when I get more comfortable with drawing I might attempt to do this again.
