About Me

My name is Chidinma Kanu, but I go by Didi. I plan on majoring in Chemical Engineering. I love chemistry so that is why I chose chemical. I have also loved math almost my whole life. Some of my short term goals include getting good grades this semester, forming good study and organizational habits, and staying on top of or ahead of things. In the long run, I hope to either do something related to medicine or something more related to chemical engineering. I don’t know what specifically, but I’m excited to find out as I navigate college these next few years. Outside of classes, I love listening to r&b music, hanging out with friends, playing soccer and basketball, and watching Netflix/Hulu. On campus, I am part of the Black Student Association, the National Society of Black Engineers, and the Undergraduate Student Government. Something that makes me unique is that I have a twin sister and that my family is from Nigeria, which is where my full name comes from.
